<p>Ethereum has surged to its highest level in 18 months, with its price currently up by 5.61% at $2,375. Some investors predict a price target of $3,500 for the digital asset. While Bitcoin’s momentum has slowed down, the focus has shifted to Ethereum and other altcoins experiencing significant upward surges. Non-exchange wallets are holding an all-time high of 54.6 million ETH, while exchange wallet holdings have dropped to a five-year low of 9.3 million ETH. Ethereum is set to execute the Dencun fork of the Goerli testnet in January 2024, which will boost data availability for layer-2 rollups and ultimately benefit end users.</p>
