<p>Taurus SA, a Swiss institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure provider regulated by FINMA, has announced the expansion of its operations with a new office in Frankfurt, Germany.</p>

<p>The decision to expand into Germany aligns with the growing demand for digital asset custody and tokenization services in the country. This demand comes from various financial institutions and corporations and is supported by recent regulatory developments. The German financial regulator, Bafin, has clarified the regulatory framework for digital assets, which includes the eWPG “Electronic Securities Act”. This act facilitates the adoption of tokenized securities and provides a framework for digital assets custody services.</p> 
<p>Andreas Beller, who has considerable experience in the financial sector with previous roles at Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank, will lead the new Frankfurt office. His expertise includes trading, go-to-market strategies, and the implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions for financial institutions.</p> 
<p>Beller noted the growing importance of digital assets in Europe, particularly in Germany. “Digital assets are gaining traction across Europe, and Germany leads the way. We’re tremendously excited by the prospect of working with forward-thinking financial institutions and corporations to bring new services to market enabled by Taurus custody and tokenization technology.”</p>

<p>This expansion follows recent moves by BaFin to accelerate the licensing of crypto custody services, aiming to boost market confidence. Following this, several new licenses were issued, notably to <strong>Commerzbank</strong>, making it <a href="https://financefeeds.com/commerzbank-to-offer-crypto-services-in-germany/">the first full-service financial institution in Germany to receive a crypto custody license</a>.</p> 
<p>Taurus SA has also recently <a href="https://financefeeds.com/deutsche-bank-to-offer-crypto-custody-for-its-customers/">announced</a> a partnership with Deutsche Bank. This partnership enables Deutsche Bank to expand its custody services to institutional clients.</p> 
<p>With this expansion, Taurus SA continues to strengthen its leadership in the European market, particularly in digital asset infrastructure for banks and corporates. The company has also opened new offices in major financial centers like London, Paris, and Dubai, enhancing its international presence and capacity to meet the demands of diverse markets.</p>
