The bonds will be available on the Bitfinex Securities Platform, a blockchain-based equities and bonds trading site registered in El Salvador.
 
 
 Unlike traditional bonds, which usually mature over a more extended period, these Bitcoin-backed bonds are set to have a ten-year term. Moreover, they promise investors an annual return of 6.5%.
