Donald Trump has launched the “Mugshot NFT Edition”.&nbsp; The latest <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/nft-collections/">NFT collection</a> by the former President of the United States in a hint to his troubles with the law, following his arrest in August. 
The new digital collectibles cards are priced at $99 apiece. Owners of 47 Mugshot NFT cards will be rewarded with a dinner with the former POTUS at Mar-a-Lago and receive a piece of the suit Trump wore for his mugshot when he was arrested in August. 
According to Trump’s NFT projects website, this edition of <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-an-nft/">NFTs</a> will also have one-of-one cards, with some possibly hand-signed by Trump. 
According to a post published on X announcing the launch, Trump said the physical suit he wore for his mugshot was cut into pieces, which will be sent to holders.

In the advert, Trump lauded the success of his previous two collections, which sold within hours. Trump’s previous two collections have experienced a volatile performance on OpenSea amid the current state of the crypto market. 
His first collection debuted <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/donald-trump-mocked-for-overhyping-digital-trading-cards-collection/">last year</a>, with his second <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/trump-doubles-down-on-successful-nft-debut-with-series-two-of-digital-trading-cards/">launched in April</a> this year. Trump isn’t the only White House resident to have explored the NFT market, his wife Melania Trump launched a <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/former-first-lady-launches-nft-platform-to-feature-exclusive-nfts/">limited-time NFT drop</a> dubbed Malania’s Vision in December 2021. 
At the time, it seemed like it was going to be a major project, at least based on her post on X (then Twitter).
