The amended agreement also stipulates an accelerated payment schedule for Stronghold, requiring an early settlement of $3.23 million, originally due later in the year. This development is the latest in Stronghold's ongoing engagement with WhiteHawk Capital, a relationship rooted in the 2021 bull run when Stronghold secured a $40 million equipment financing loan. The loan, initially secured by 15,000 MinerVA Bitcoin miners, encountered challenges due to delivery failures by MinerVa Semiconductor Corp., leading to significant adjustments in the companies' financial arrangements.
In response to these challenges, Stronghold and WhiteHawk restructured their financial agreement in October 2022, transitioning to a secured $58 million Credit Agreement.
