Even Hollywood celebrities, singers and players have seen a rift with the sec. Kim Kardashian settled $1.26 million in fines with the SEC in October 2022. 
Actress Lindsay Lohan, social media influencer Jake Paul, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., musician Aliaune Thiam (Akon), and music producer Khaled Khaled are among the list of celebrities accused of similar offences. 
The crypto crackdown poses a threat to the decentralised structure of cryptocurrency Many cryptocurrency exchanges, lenders, and funds have gone bankrupt in the last year reflecting the necessity for clear regulations for investors to feel secure when using these platforms.
