<p>The two industry giants, Mastercard and Metamask have come together to experiment on the first On-Chain Payment Card. This payment card will work on Mastercard’s giant network, issued by Baanx. MetaMask has the largest self-custody wallet with over 30 million monthly active users, while Mastercard plays a significant role in the finances. The MetaMask/Mastercard payment card would be “the first ever truly decentralized web3 payment solution.” Lately, both Mastercard and its competitor Visa have been actively engaging with public blockchain developer communities and providers of self-custody wallets.</p>
