<p>First Trust and SkyBridge had initially filed for a bitcoin ETF in March 2021. Along with many other unsuccessful applications, it was rejected in January 2022. However First Trust and SkyBridge did not reapply, while Blackrock got successfully approved by SEC after some changes and is now among the top Bitcoin ETFs. As per a notice published on Wednesday, the SEC has asked First Trust SkyBridge Bitcoin ETF to consider its ETF application abandoned, as it failed to respond to prior communications from the SEC.</p>
