<p>OKX has got in-principle approval for a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license in Singapore through its local subsidiary. This license will allow OKX to facilitate multiple payment services and exceed the transaction volume limitations set by Singapore’s financial regulator. Issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), it will allow OKX to provide digital payment token services and cross-border transfers in the country. Singapore was always prioritized in its global strategy, said the OKX president, Hong Fang. As the people over there are well versed in tech, Fang also emphasized that the country’s regulatory policies also are in harmony.</p>
