Notably, it significantly reduces Ethereum L2 transaction costs by introducing innovative features such as Blob posting, storage optimizations, and memory copying enhancements. These improvements streamline transaction processing and pave the way for a wide range of new use cases on Arbitrum.</p><p>Moreover, ArbOS 20 “Atlas” has undergone rigorous auditing and approval processes by the Arbitrum <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/glossary/decentralized-autonomous-organization-dao/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DAO</a>, ensuring its reliability and security for all DAO-governed chains. Additionally, self-governed Orbit L2 roll-up chains can independently deploy ArbOS 20 to access the benefits of Ethereum Dencun support.</p><h2 id="header-1">Arbitrum Embarks on Next Phase</h2><p>In anticipation of the upcoming changes, Arbitrum is set to implement additional gas fee reductions for Arbitrum One by March 18, 2024.
