<p style="text-align: justify">NFPrompt, the altcoin project recognized as <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/binance-futures-launches-dogwifhat-wif-futures-coin-skyrockets" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>‘s 41st Launchpool offering, recently suffered a significant <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/crypto-security-in-2023-a-year-of-reduced-losses" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">security</a> breach. The team behind NFPrompt disclosed on a social media platform that multiple wallet addresses, including those associated with the project’s contract managers, were compromised by attackers.</p>
<h2 id="hack-disrupts-nfprompt-s-operations-and-security">Hack Disrupts NFPrompt’s Operations and Security</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">The assailants unlawfully accessed and stole funds from several wallets, impacting parts of the project’s treasury and ecosystem fund. Although the exact amount lost remains undisclosed, the NFPrompt team has taken immediate action to mitigate the damages.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The group has secured its assets by transferring smart contract ownership to new wallets. They have also collaborated with centralized exchanges to freeze the affected funds and requested a temporary suspension of deposit transactions and liquidity pools involving NFP tokens on partnered exchanges.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">NFPrompt has cautioned users to refrain from accepting any NFP tokens from unknown parties until further notice, and has plans to flag the compromised tokens associated with the hackers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Following the breach announcement, the value of NFPrompt’s altcoin plunged by 14.82%, with prices falling to $0.7768. In an effort to trace and apprehend the perpetrators, NFPrompt’s team has engaged with prominent Web3 security firms SlowMist and Chainalysis, and alerted the FBI for support.</p>
