The development team disclosed this breach on their official X account, outlining the attack’s impact and the actions taken to mitigate further risks. NFPrompt’s leadership provided scant details about the stolen funds but confirmed that the hackers compromised several wallets, including those owned by contract administrators of the project.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">To counter the <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/understanding-the-rise-of-crypto-wallet-drainer-scams-in-singapore" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hack</a> swiftly, NFPrompt’s team shifted smart contract ownerships to fresh wallet addresses. They also engaged with central exchanges to freeze assets linked to the offenders and requested a temporary pause of NFP deposits. Similarly, they advised decentralized exchanges to stop all NFP-related liquidity pools as a safety measure.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Warning users to be cautious, the team advised against accepting NFP tokens from dubious sources and indicated that tokens associated with the hackers would be marked. This advisory remains in effect until further updates are provided by the team.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">As news of the attack broke out, NFP’s market value took a hit, with a 14.82% decrease over the past day. The <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/bitcoins-promising-metric-signals-potential-rally-according-to-analyst-cryptocon" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency</a> is currently valued at $0.7768. In the aftermath of the breach, the project’s price experienced a dramatic downturn.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In conjunction with these <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/introducing-derec-alliance-a-decentralized-recovery-system-for-crypto-assets" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">security</a> efforts, NFPrompt has partnered with Web3 security firms SlowMist and Chainalysis to trace the hackers’ activities. The FBI has also been notified to aid in the investigation and pursuit of the cybercriminals responsible for the heist.</p>
