<p>Dubbed a “crypto digital detective,” ZachXBT has played a crucial role in uncovering fraudulent activities and bad actors within the crypto space. However, his efforts have also resulted in legal entanglements, such as a defamation lawsuit filed against him by Jeffrey Huang, also known as the NFT Trader MachiBigBrother.</p>

<p>This elaborate trickled to significant losses, with the most prominent victim losing nearly $1.2 million. Even after ZachXBT’s publication, the crypto scammers stole over $250,000. <p>“Why would anyone send tokens to an account just like that when it takes a few lines of code to implement a sales smart contract?” asked Robert Sasu. He is a user shocked by the $2.6 million sent to an account.</p>
<p>This scam occurred during the rapid ascent of the Book of Meme (BOME) token. BOME is a meme coin on the Solana blockchain that gained traction quickly, especially after being listed on Binance.</p>

<p>In February, Scam Sniffer reported that roughly 57,000 people fell victim to crypto scams, resulting in collective losses of around $47 million. These scams were mainly phishing attacks executed on social media platforms.</p>

<p>There was a substantial theft of $6.2 million on a particular day in February, despite a 75% decrease in individuals losing over $1 million.</p>
