<p>The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) is a product of Bitwise Investment Advisors, a digital asset management firm. On January 11, 2024, it became one of the earliest spot <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> ETFs to receive approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.</p>

Bitwise’s BITB is also one of the few spot Bitcoin ETFs listed on NYSE Arca, alongside Grayscale Investment’s GBTC and Hashdex’s DEFI funds.</p>

<p>The digital asset custodian for the ETF is <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/exchange/gdax/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase</a> Custody Trust LLC, a popular choice for spot Bitcoin ETF issuers. The trust custodian for the fund is BNY Mellon.</p>
