<p>Nubit x Polyhedra has announced a partnership that will improve the overall Bitcoin ecosystem. According to Nubit, its collaboration with Polyhedra will result in an improved ecosystem for the Bitcoin network. Nubit prides itself on the first Bitcoin native data availability layer.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you have interacted with blockchain technology before, you probably understand that the issue of <a href="https://www.cryptopolitan.com/why-you-should-care-about-data-availability/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Data Availability </a>has been the talking point for many Web3 developers, especially for Rollup developers. The DA problem is a major discussion point as it has the potential to either make blockchain transactions extremely expensive or even unbearable if not solved.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nubit took to Twitter to address some of the issues with DA and how they plan to revolutionize the ecosystem and fix the problem together. Polyhedra Network provides expertise on Zero-Knowledge scaling solutions that Nubit plans to incorporate in order to build a scalable Data availability system for the Bitcoin Network.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Nubit x Polyhedra teams are pooling their advanced infrastructure together to solve the proof of data availability<a href="https://www.binance.com/en/research/analysis/why-you-should-care-about-data-availability" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank"> problem</a> on the Bitcoin network. Polyhedra Network just tweeted that they plan to integrate their ZK-based signature integration to allow Nubit to achieve single-slot finality consensus. The move will allow Nubit to scale up its validators.</p>

<p>The new frontier will enable trustless Bitcoin bridging to Nubit using Polyhedra’s Bitcoin messaging protocol.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But why should you and I be concerned about it? Let me take you back to the three pillars of blockchain technology: security, scalability, and decentralization. The Nubit x Polyhedra partnership will build on scalability by allowing interoperability and solving the Data Availability issue.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nubit says the joint team will build a robust DA system for the Bitcoin network that is optimized for high throughput L2 rollups. By solving the prominent DA problem, the project will offset Bitcoin L1 storage and enable Bitcoin L2 solutions to efficiently settle on Bitcoin through Nubit x Polyhedra proof of DA framework.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nubit x Polyhedra’s joint announcement today comes just a day after Binance Research shared a comprehensive report about the importance of data availability. The Report illustrates the DA problem and suggests possible solutions to the problem, some of which have already been implemented in the Ethereum Dencun update by the use of blop-carrying transactions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The DA problem will continue to spark innovations within blockchain technology, and it’ll be interesting to see new innovations developed to solve and improve the problem. Ideally, solving the DA problem will not only promote L2 developments but will also significantly reduce the costs of blockchain transactions.&nbsp;</p>
