Foxy (FOXY) is rallying following the team’s announcement that “The Fox is out” and Foxy is officially live on <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/okx-to-list-foxy-foxy-on-april-12/">OKX</a>, ByBit, KuCoin, Gate.io and on DEX on <a href="https://linea.build/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Linea Build</a> and LynexFi. 
The team also noted that the contract address is 0x5FBDF89403270a1846F5ae7D113A989F850d1566. 
They highlighted important notes for users regarding the buying on DEX. Foxy team said that users who are buying on DEX have to make sure that they have the right contract. 
They mentioned that no other airdrops, presales, and campaigns besides their OKX and MetaMask airdrops are currently live, and both of them will be completed today.

<h2 id="what-is-foxy-foxy">What is Foxy (FOXY)?</h2> 
FOXY is considered the first memecoin built on the Linea blockchain, a project developed by ConsenSys to address scalability challenges on the<a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/vaneck-ceo-predicts-sec-will-reject-ethereum-etf/"> Ethereum</a> network. 
Foxy is basically a mascot token for the Linea blockchain. Foxy is a culture coin, a meme token for the users of the Linea blockchain to rally behind and help build a sense of community. 
Linea is a Layer 2 (L2) solution for Ethereum. It’s been created to offer scalability and flexibility for dApps. It mixes zero-knowledge proofs with full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) equivalence and it also enables easy creation or migration of dApps. 
This technology is used for faster and cheaper transactions compared to the ones on the Ethereum mainnet. 
Linea and FOXY are relatively new projects in the crypto industry, and regardless of the massive hype that’s been building around them, they should be considered with caution.
