This was revealed in a press statement made available to Technext. To be called the SHELT System Integration (SHELT SI), the new business unit will be operated under the company’s Nigerian subsidiary, Cyber Immune Limited. 
Speaking about the latest milestone in the history of the company and the promises inherent in the Nigerian market, Managing Partner of SHELT Global Limited, Mr Youssef Abillama, expressed his confidence in Nigeria and the digitization efforts going on in the country.

The new business unit is expected to be a marked expansion in SHELT’s journey into Nigeria. Having built a solid reputation for over six years of serving the nation’s financial, telecom, and government sectors, the company says it is now expanding its offerings to accelerate Nigeria’s digital transformation. 
Thus, the new business unit, SHELT SI will emerge as a vital addition to the company’s portfolio, providing customers in Nigeria with trusted and unbiased expertise to design and implement cutting-edge, resilient, secure, and scalable solutions.&nbsp; 
The new business unit is also expected to forge strategic partnerships with global leaders to provide Networking and Cloud Management Solutions, Security Solutions, Collaboration Solutions, Managed services, Communication services, and IT Professional services while attracting top talent in Nigeria.&nbsp; 
Speaking on what the expansion means for the cybersecurity company, the Country Manager of Cyber Immune Limited, Mr Walid Bou Abssi, noted that the expansion underscores the company’s dedication to empowering Nigeria’s digital evolution.

<h4 id="shelt-run-of-investments-into-nigeria" class="wp-block-heading">SHELT run of investments into Nigeria</h4> 
The launch of its new business unit is the latest in a line of recent investments the company will be making in Nigeria. Two months ago, the cloud and cybersecurity company launched its Security Operations Centre (SOC) which effectively marked the relocation of its headquarters to Lagos. 
The company said this relocation of its headquarters consolidates its determination to invest in Nigeria’s economy and growing cybersecurity talent for the country. The new SHELT Headquarters boasts a state-of-the-art 24/7 SOC to support the needs of the company’s clients all over Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

The foremost cybersecurity company also launched its Training Academy where young talents and experienced cybersecurity professionals looking to enhance their cybersecurity skills can enrol and benefit from the knowledge and experience of the company’s experts.&nbsp; 
The company said the Training Academy will be issuing certifications to students in coordination with international cybersecurity bodies and affiliations. 
Speaking about the Training Academy, Country Manager of SHELT Cyber Immune Limited, Mr. Walid Bou Abssi said he was excited about the many opportunities ahead of the company in the future with the launch of the Academy.
