According to sources, the US issuers are anticipating the launch of ETFs linked to the price of ether with disappointment. Meetings with the SEC in recent weeks have turned out to be with low expectations. The agency staff have reportedly provided little insight regarding the proposed products.
VanEck, ARK Investment Management, and seven others are among the entities that are awaiting SEC decisions. VanEck’s and ARK’s filings face decisions by May 23 and May 24, respectively. Attendees revealed that meetings were one-sided, with SEC staff offering minimal discussion. New trend in the market 
Franklin Templeton has listed its spot Ether ETF, the Franklin Ethereum TR Ethereum ETF (EZET), on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website. This listing comes on a crucial platform for US securities transactions.&nbsp;
The SEC extended its review of Franklin’s ETF application, initially filed on Feb. 12, granting until June 11 for evaluation. This move comes amid a growing race among industry giants like BlackRock, Grayscale, VanEck, and ARK Invest to launch these money pools.
Morgan Stanley is reportedly set to enable its 15,000 brokers to advocate for Bitcoin ETFs to clients. Initially, the Wall Street titan only allowed Bitcoin ETF purchases on an unsolicited basis. However, this was until it got approval earlier this year.&nbsp;
Now, it aims to push brokers to directly promote bitcoin ETFs. It can potentially drive further inflows into these funds. This strategic shift shows the demand for the money pools that offer clients exposure to the crypto benefits without direct ownership.
