The crypto community, especially Android users, recently experienced a setback following the removal of the “Trust Wallet” crypto wallet from the Google Play Store. Following this incident, Trust Wallet made a post on X (previously Twitter) that Android users do not have to worry; they can download the Android APK from theTrust Wallet website. Trust Wallet backs to Google Play Store 
After 40 minutes of Trust Wallet’s removal from the Google Play Store, currently, thisissue is resolved, and Trust Wallet is back on the Google Play Store. Until Trust Wallet appeared on the Google Play Store, they urged everyone to stay away from the Google Play Store and avoid downloading any Trust Wallet named crypto wallet. 
During the announcement, Trust Wallet also cited that, don’t fall for fake Trust Wallet apps on Google Play; scammers may try to trick you. This proactive approach by Trust Wallet highlights the intention to safeguard the investors’ and retailers’ feelings and enhance their trust toward them. However, this issue was only on the Google Play Store, whereas the App Store iOS app and Google Chrome Browser Extension versions remained unaffected.&nbsp;
However, this is not the first time Google has removed any <a href="https://news.todayq.com/google-sues-crypto-scam-apps-on-play-store-will-it-affect-market/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto-related applications</a>. Earlier on April 4, 2024, Google filed a lawsuit against a group for scamming over 100,000 people globally with fake investment and crypto apps on Google Play. The lawsuit claims the defendants uploaded 87 fraudulent apps using deceptive tactics. This action aims to protect users and fight crypto scams, as reported by Todayq News.&nbsp; Market reaction following Trust wallet incident 
Following this incident, the cryptocurrency market remained unaffected. The overall cryptocurrency market is already experiencing downside momentum, whereas top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, and many others experiencing massive downside momentum. While observing these cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Cardano experienced massive price falls of over 2%, 5%, 5%, 3%, and 5%, respectively.
Currently, as of writing, the overall cryptocurrency market is down by over 3%, whereas the 24-hour trading volume has jumped by over 8%. This jump in the 24-hour trading volume highlights investors’ as well as retailers’ interest in the market amid massive price falls.
