<p>Over the past few days, a prominent United States official repeated the idea that all nuclear powers must keep high-placing humans to oversee those weapons. Paul Dean, who is the acting assistant deputy secretary in the branch of Arms Control, Deterrence and Stability in the Department of State, stated that it is highly risky to disregard the fact that machines may slack off during a dangerous time when a single wrong move may cause damage worse than the damage on the machines in the first place. He particularly brought up the agreement between the UN Security Council on the fundamental influence of human consideration on decision-making related to strategic weapons management.</p>
