<p>A Bitcoin investor recently fell victim to an “address poisoning” scam, resulting in a loss of $68 million. The incident, which took place on May 3rd, was brought to light by blockchain detective ZachXBT. The victim, intending to send 1,115 Bitcoin to a specific address, inadvertently sent it to an address set by the attackers due to “address poisoning”. The error was only realized after the transaction was completed, by which time it was too late to reverse the action.</p>
