The IVS KYOTO Executive Committee is thrilled to announce that in the next weeks, it will host&nbsp;one of Japan’s biggest and most renowned annual crypto conferences. This year’s Japan Blockchain Week Summit will take place at the Kyoto Pulse Plaza with the three-day <a href="https://www.ivs.events/crypto" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO</a> event, which runs from Thursday, July 4, to Saturday, July 6, 2024. 
Highlighted as the biggest cryptocurrency event on Japan’s 2023 calendar, the last edition of IVS Kyoto attracted over 10,500 participants, 300 speakers, and over 150 side activities with the theme&nbsp;“What’s your new adventures.” It was highly praised for providing an immersive and exciting experience. 
The theme of IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO is “Cross the Boundaries,” in keeping with the success of the previous year. It is requested that participants, speakers, and exhibitors from Japan and beyond concentrate on the development and use of blockchain technology and investigate the prospects of Web 3.0 via gaming, entertainment, artificial intelligence, and other means.

The Kyoto Pulse Plaza will host IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO spanning four floors. The first floor will include displays aimed at promoting the real-world use of blockchain technology, allowing visitors to see how Web 3.0 is already being incorporated into everyday life. Attendees will be able to participate in workshops that explore a variety of topics, including “Game-Specific Chains &amp; Gaming Industry,” “SocialFi &amp; Entertainment,” “Blockchain Data &amp; AI,” and “DeFi and Financial Efficiency.” 
Mo Shaikh (CEO and co-founder of Aptos Labs), Sebastien Borget (co-founder of the Sandbox), Joichi Ito (president of Chiba Institute of Technology), Mai Fujimoto (co-founder of INTMAX), Genki Oda (representative director of JVCEA), Hidekazu Kondo (CEO of Japan Open Chain), Waka Itagaki (Deputy Director of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), Ken Kanetomo (web3 Division Manager of Konami Digital Entertainment), and Hideto Kawasaki (director-general of web3PT of Liberal Democratic Party) are among the headline speakers gracing the first-floor stage.

Dozens of innovative blockchain startups will have booths on the floor, interspersed with seven unique experience zones that will each expose attendees to Web 3.0 from a completely new angle. Among these is The Web3 Entertainment Zone, which YGG Japan and SHAKE Entertainment are organizing to demonstrate how the gaming&nbsp;industry is using Web 3.0. The Crypto Village, presented by MURA and managed by Shinsekai Technologies, promises to be another highlight. It will include a variety of side activities centered on different topics, all happening at different times of the day and offering a lively setting for interactions. 
A number of initiatives that bring together creative ideas and projects in an attempt to connect creators&nbsp;and developers who aspire to influence the future of Web 3.0 will take over Inamori Hall on the third floor of Kyoto Pulse Plaza. Among the initiatives is the much anticipated AI &amp; Web 3.0 Animation Contest, in which a group of young creators&nbsp;will compete to make short blockchain-managed cartoons utilizing AI, the Unreal Engine, and tools from Animechain.ai. 
Another highlight is the WaveHack Global Demo Day, where the top hackathon teams will get $500,000 in prizes and the chance to showcase their Web 3.0 products at EDCON and WebX in the future. 
Lastly, the 2nd and 5th Floors are reserved areas where innovators and entrepreneurs may meet and discuss their ideas with some of the most well-known venture capital investors in the cryptocurrency space.

The annual Non Fungible Tokyo event, which debuted in 2018 and is now renamed as Japan Blockchain Week Summit, is growing into one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency events, with over 50,000 expected to attend this year’s revamped&nbsp;version. The two-day event, which is co-hosted by N.Avenue, the company that runs CoinDesk JAPAN, and JapanBlockchainWeek, will take place at IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO. 
This year’s Japan Blockchain Week 2024, scheduled to take place from July 4 to July 31, will begin with the Japan Blockchain Week Summit, the premier event at IVS Crypto 2024 KYOTO. Throughout the nation, various experiences will be available at various locations. Among the most highly awaited events are “DCENTRAL Tokyo 2024,” a three-day event scheduled to take place from July 17 to July 19, and “Web3 Future 2024,” which will be held by GInco Inc. on July 16.
