At the same time, this change is a reaction to rising worries about the AI industry’s concentration of power. Furthermore, the co-founder has highlighted the dangers of highly intelligent AI in his remarks.

In a recent X post, an AI enthusiast discussed OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s reinstatement to the board after his dismissal last year.

At the same time, Vitalik Buterin offered his opinions on the matter, highlighting the dangers of super intelligent AI and the need of not hastening its development. Furthermore, he stressed the need for an active community to develop open-source AI models compatible with consumer gear.
Buterin contended that these models mitigate the danger of corporate or military domination by acting as a vital check on the monopolization of AI. The need for balanced regulation in the AI field was also addressed by Vitalik Buterin in his recent statement. He proposed splitting AI models into “small” and “large” categories, with distinct regulatory needs for each.
