<p>According to the finance professor of Marquette University, David Krause, the initial investment of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) in spot bitcoin ETFs is only a trial phase. Earlier this year, SWIB added the iShared Bitcoin Trust of BlackRock and the Bitcoin Trust of Grayscale to its portfolio, worth $164 million. Krause talked about the innovative approach undertaken by SWIB, which indicates the board is currently considering public reaction before potentially increasing its investment. Although it is only a small portion of SWIB’s $156 billion portfolio, Krause remains optimistic that more significant allocations will occur in the future.</p>
