This comes after rumors that E-trade is having internal discussions about whether to ban Keith Gill, who uses the name ”Roaring Kitty” on X, from its trading platforms over concerns that he may be manipulating the market.

On Monday, GameStop shares soared after Gill posted a screenshot on Reddit, where he goes by the name “DeepFuckingValue,” showing he holds a $181.4 million investment in the company.

According to the brokerage firm, Gill bought call options in May before he posted on X, with the same contracts expiring that same week, which means he likely locked in profits. 
After his post on Reddit, the GME stock surged, alongside altcoins associated with the meme stock, with <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/gamestop-surges-199-after-roaring-kitty-reveals-180-million-gme-stake">GME soaring over 200%</a> after the post. However, with news allegations of possible market manipulation, the altcoins have experienced a significant downturn, with GME down 2% in the last 24 hours. 
Before the post, the Roaring Kitty price was trading within a consolidation channel, as the bulls and the bears struggled for dominance around $0.0028, data from <a href="https://www.geckoterminal.com/solana/pools/StJ9GP9KKVsbvtEtBDSjWNL9jpgybCjyHAwYyTe4SpW">GeckoTerminal</a> shows. 
After Gill’s post, the bulls won the struggle, pushing KITTY over the upper boundary of the channel, rising over 900%. However, KITTY retraced slightly to the current price, within the upper boundary of the channel.

KITTY trades well above the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), which still supports the bullish prospect despite the retrace. 
Moreover, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) trades within the 50-midline region, currently at 54, which is an indication that KITTY is currently in equilibrium as the bulls aim to push the price over the consolidation channel. 
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also shows signs of bullish potential, with the blue MACD line crossing above the orange signal line, representing a bullish crossover, which could push the bulls to add to their positions. 
The Roaring Kitty price analysis shows a bearish trend with signs of a bullish trend reversal over the consolidation channel, as the main indicators show that investors are buying. With the RSI and MACD offering some bullish prospects for optimistic investors, the bulls are currently targeting $0.04. 
However, the 50-day SMA crosses below the 200-day SMA, forming a death cross at $0.0037, which could push the bears to exert more pressure on the price. In such a scenario, the bulls could retreat to the support level around $0.0048.
