Canine-themed coins also experienced a huge uptick, led by Ben the Dog (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ben-the-dog/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BENDOG</a>) with a 174.13% increase, DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dog-go-to-the-moon-rune/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DOG</a>) with 123%, and Dogebonk (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogebonk/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DOBO</a>) with 4.67%.  
However, more popular dog-themed tokens saw declines: Bonk (BONK) dropped by 16%, Dogecoin (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DOGE</a>) fell 4%, Shiba Inu (<a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shiba-inu/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SHIB</a>) declined by 3.7% and Floki shed off 2.87% of its value over the past seven days.  
Is this indicative of the market taking a pause from the popular dog-based meme coins? Or are investors simply seeking a new contender to lead the meme coin pup pack like <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/visit/playdoge" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">PlayDoge</a>? It is probably the latter.
