Fireblocks, a leading crypto custody firm, has inked an affiliation deal with Coinbase International Exchange to enhance security standards. Fireblocks’ customers can directly integrate their accounts with Coinbase International Exchange while utilizing Fireblocks’ governance and policy rules to manage activities such as withdrawals and deposits. 
Multi-Party Computation (MPC) Integration 
Fireblocks’ <a href="https://www.fireblocks.com/blog/fireblocks-x-coinbase-international-exchange/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">partnership</a> involves the integration of Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology, which eliminates a single point of compromise from API credentials, and secure hardware enclaves, ensuring robust protection for users’ assets. 
Customers can utilize Fireblocks’ policy engine to configure user roles, governance policies, and approval workflows tailored for exchange operations. This functionality empowers users to manage deposit, withdrawal, and rebalancing activities across platforms securely. It effectively prevents unauthorized fund movements and ensures transparency in account balances. 
Coinbase International Exchange CEO Usman Naeem expressed confidence in the partnership’s potential to enhance service offerings for institutional and retail clients, highlighting their commitment to providing a reliable trading infrastructure in the digital asset landscape.
