      <p>Before this, staking in Consensys validators required at least 32 ETH, as per Ethereum’s protocol. However, blockchain data indicates that 99% of ETH holders possess less than this amount. MetaMask’s Pooled Staking enables more users to stake ETH and earn rewards, irrespective of their ETH holdings.</p>

<p>According to its <a href="https://consensys.io/blog/metamask-launches-pooled-staking-helping-users-earn-rewards-support-ethereum-security" target="_blank" rel="noopener">blog post</a>, MetaMask Pooled Staking is immediately available to a portion of eligible users and will continue rolling out in the coming days. Initially, unavailable in the US or UK, but Consensys aims to expand availability soon.</p> 
<p>Matthieu Saint Olive, Senior Product Manager at Consensys, said: “With Pooled Staking, MetaMask users now have an easy way to stake ETH in enterprise-grade validators while maintaining full control of their ETH, earning rewards, and making Ethereum more secure.”</p>
