<p>The price surge for the token comes as the crypto exchange Bitpanda revealed a listing announcement for the coin.</p> 
<p>In a <a href="https://x.com/Bitpanda_global/status/1801167079237726296" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">post</a> via x, Bitpanda noted that DOG loves two things: the moon and Bitcoin. The team at the exchange said that they believe it’s time to add DOG to their listing countdown.</p> 
<p>Bitpanda also said that DOG’s community has a mission to go to the moon. DOG is built on the Bitcoin blockchain, therefore traders can get the fun of a meme coin, but with the trust of Bitcoin, the team behind the exchange notes.</p> 
<p>Bitpanda lists DOG on their exchange today.</p>

<p>The developer of Ordinals and creator of Runestone, Leonidas shared<a href="https://x.com/LeonidasNFT/status/1801095534976880821" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> a post</a> on his X account earlier today, saying that DOG has a single mission which is to go to the moon and board millions of people to Bitcoin.</p> 
<p>On June 4, DOG reached<a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/dog-reaches-a-new-ath-up-by-13-today/"> a new ATH</a> and surged by 13% on the day.</p> 
<p>Not too long ago, Leonidas shared a&nbsp;<a href="https://x.com/LeonidasNFT/status/1797017256502677744" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">post</a>&nbsp;revealing the setup for DOG that includes the following:</p>

 <li>on the brink of reaching the homepage of CMC</li> 
 <li>on the verge of becoming the 10th memecoin to ever reach $1 billion</li>

<p>He also mentioned that nobody even knows how to buy it at the moment.</p> 
<h2 id="what-is-dog-go-to-the-moon-dog">What is DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON (DOG)?</h2> 
<p>DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON is a rune that was etched and minted on top of Bitcoin via the Runes Protocol. Similar to other Runes tokens, DOG is a fungible crypto asset.</p> 
<p>Its goal is to overtake DOGE’s market cap, according to Leonidas, its creator.</p>
