The Livepeer price rose 17% in the last 24 hours <a href="https://www.geckoterminal.com/eth/pools/0x2519042aa735edb4688a8376d69d4bb69431206c" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">to trade at $24.37</a> as of 03:34 a.m. EST on trading volume that skyrocketed 117% to $139 million.
That made LPT the top gainer among the biggest 100 cryptos by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

The Livepeer price has been on a steady rise since May, rising through a markup phase as it soared to the resistance around $24.48, data from <a href="https://www.geckoterminal.com/eth/pools/0x2519042aa735edb4688a8376d69d4bb69431206c" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">GeckoTerminal</a> shows.
LPT has been unable to soar over the resistance level, with the token consolidating between the $24.48 and $20.32 levels. With the Livepeer price crossing above the upper boundary of the channel, the bulls could sustain the bullish stance.
LPT trades above both the 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), a confirmation of the strong bullish momentum.
Moreover, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) trades above the 50-midline level at 58, which shows that LPT is set to soar over the consolidation channel as it comes out of equilibrium.
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) also shows signs of the toke soaring above the channel, as the MACD line (blue) crosses above the signal line (orange), a representation of a bullish crossover.

The Livepeer price analysis on the 4-hour chart shows that LPT bulls aim to push the token over the consolidation channel, currently targeting the next resistance zone at $27.50.
However, if the bears win the struggle for dominance within the consolidation channel, LPT may drop back to below the channel at $18.80.
Meanwhile, as the Livepeer bulls gear up for a bullish rally, other investors are piling into $99BTC, a Bitcoin derivative that has already raised more than $2.1 million.
