The TrumpCoin price has gone <a href="https://www.geckoterminal.com/solana/pools/3B5vXBEYAmV8y13pgvzSi7eLDFS5tRd4pZZZPNuA4Ao2">ballistic</a> with a 68% surge over the past 24 hours to trade at $0.01815 as of 7:45 a.m. EST as investors rush to buy the political meme coin. 
This surge in the DJT price comes after Martin Shkreli, also known as “Pharma Bro,” <a href="https://x.com/MarioNawfal/status/1803547697296605200">said</a> that he helped former US President Donald Trump’s 18-year-old son, Barron <a href="https://insidebitcoins.com/news/trumpcoin-soars-442-after-pirate-wires-says-donald-trump-is-behind-djt-token-triggering-politifi-crypto-crash">Trump</a>, launch TrumpCoin.

Shkreli then went on to say in a Jun. 19 X <a href="https://twitter.com/MartinShkreli/status/1803495790742217126">post</a> that “he taught” someone how to create a contract and added that “they pushed the button,” not him. 
The keys to the smart contract are “with Trump,” according to Shkreli. 
In 2017, Shkreli was convicted on charges of securities fraud and conspiracy He was sentenced to seven years in prison and forced to pay over $70 million in fines.

Since bouncing off of the significant price point, DJT has printed a series of higher highs and higher lows on the 4-hour chart, resulting in the formation of an ascending price channel. 
Should this bullish momentum continue, the TrumpCoin price could soon flip the $0.01789 barrier into support. A 4-hour candle close above this threshold might then give the crypto the technical foundation needed to keep climbing in the short term.
