The U.S. government recently moved 3,940 Bitcoin to a Coinbase Prime wallet on June 26, according to Arkham Intelligence. These Bitcoins were seized from Banmeet Singh, a convicted drug trafficker, earlier this year. Singh was extradited from the UK to the US in 2023 and had been running a drug distribution network across several states. As part of his conviction, he had to forfeit over 8,100 Bitcoin. This transfer has raised concerns among Bitcoin investors about the potential impact of government sell-offs on the market, especially with recent large sales by the German government and the expected sell-off of Bitcoin from the Mt.
