<p>Head of Thematic and Active ETFs at BlackRock Jay Jacobs said that Bitcoin, with only one-tenth of the size of the gold market, has high volatility and behaves differently than bonds and stocks. Many investors look at it as a potential hedge against geopolitical and monetary risks. Blakcrock’s promotion of Bitcoin and its IBIT ETF comes at a time when the inflows of all spot Bitcoin ETFs have slowed down. BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF has been the most profitable, with Grayscale following behind in terms of inflow.</p>
