Web3 gaming ecosystem Pixelverse has announced the addition of Mew, a leading Solana-based catcoin, to its real-time PvP games. The integration brings Mew to a new audience within the Telegram ecosystem.
As one of the most popular catcoins on Solana, with more than 180.000 holders, Mew is already a recognized crypto feline. In a first for a Solana memecoin, the character will transcend its original network and be recreated on TON, the network where Pixelverse’s Telegram mini-games operate.
The introduction of an iconic crypto character in the form of Mew will drive greater uptake of Pixelverse’s mini-games which have surpassed all expectations since launching, attracting 50 million registered users in the first month. Players will now have the opportunity to battle as Mew, competing against other distinctive characters including the legendary Doge memecoin.
Mew’s integration into Pixelverse follows the completion of a private round that saw the entertainment studio raise $5.5M. Lead investors including Delphi Ventures, Merit Circle, and Mechanism Capital participated in Pixelverse’s funding round.
Pixelverse is renowned for integrating diverse intellectual properties (IPs) from various universes, and this collaboration with Mew marks the first partnership with a Solana project. This alliance underscores a shared vision to make cryptocurrency mainstream and engaging for everyone.
Starting soon, Pixelverse players will be able to play as Mew directly within the Telegram mini-app system.
