<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/genesis-digital-assets-stala-obektom-krupnyh-vlozhenij-alameda-research-2/">Genesis Digital Assets</a> (GDA) is preparing for a potential initial public offering (IPO) in the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/pennsylvania-a-new-hub-for-cryptomining-ignites-environmental-concerns/">United States</a>, collaborating with advisors and planning a pre-IPO <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/liquidstack-secures-funding-to-boost-eco-friendly-bitcoin-mining-in-the-u-s/">funding</a> round. GDA, which has over 500 megawatts of power capacity across 20 <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/crypto-miners-shift-gears-ai-is-the-new-gold-rush/">data centers</a>, shifted its focus to the US following <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/immersion-cooling-transforms-chinas-crypto-mining-landscape/">China</a>'s crypto mining ban. The company has raised over $550 million to support its expansion, according to <a href="https://beincrypto.com/genesis-eyes-us-ipo/">Beincrypto</a>. 
Meanwhile, <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/cleanspark-doubles-down-on-bitcoin-mining-with-55m-expansion/">CleanSpark</a>, another key player in the industry, announced it has surpassed its mid-year target, achieving a 20 EH/s operational <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/">hashrate</a> after acquiring five new mining sites in Georgia. In June, CleanSpark mined 445 Bitcoin (BTC), bringing its total reserves to 6,591 BTC. The company also sold 8.06 BTC last month. 
The crypto mining sector faces challenges, including the "capitulation" of miners who shut down due to unprofitability. To adapt, many companies are diversifying into artificial intelligence and other proof-of-work assets. For instance, <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/marathon-digital-to-boost-energy-efficiency-with-s19-xp-miners/">Marathon</a> Digital has entered the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/vipera-tech-launches-profitable-new-kaspa-miners-ks3-ks3l-3000-daily-earning-potential-revolutionizes-crypto-mining/">Kaspa</a> mining arena, mining 93 million <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/vipera-tech-launches-profitable-new-kaspa-miners-ks3-ks3l-3000-daily-earning-potential-revolutionizes-crypto-mining/">KAS</a> tokens, valued at approximately $15 million as of June 25.
