Get ready to embark on your Journey into zkEVMThe Cronos zkEVM project and participating dapps are excited to announce the launch of Cronos zkEVM Passage, a new campaign aimed to reward users with loyalty points for bridging their assets over to Cronos zkEVM as we head into the final innings of Mainnet launch.In this campaign, any user who locks and stakes CRO from Ethereum, or CRO/LCRO from Cronos EVM, into the Cronos zkEVM bridge, will accumulate points towards the Cronos zkEVM Pioneer Program. The bridge is powered by Veno Finance.In the future, users will be able to claim their points in order to be eligible for extra yield in participating dapps.<h2 id="header-0">Campaign Details</h2>Duration of Campaign: from 4 July to zkEVM mainnet launchAccepted Tokens: CRO (Ethereum/Cronos EVM) and LCRO (Cronos EVM)In order to qualify, simply visit the <a href="https://zkevm.cronos.org/bridge" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Cronos zkEVM bridge page</a> to lock and stake your assets.Your CRO/LCRO will be converted into zkCRO which will be locked in a multi-signature contract until the Cronos zkEVM mainnet launch, at which point the zKCRO will be made available to you on the Cronos zkEVM network. In other words, your crypto assets will be locked from the date of bridging to the launch of Cronos zkEVM mainnet (expected to take place in Q3).By depositing your CRO early, you will:<ol><li>Receive zkCRO ready to use on mainnet.</li><li>Accumulate early adopter points in the Cronos zkEVM Pioneer Program.</li><li>Start earning staking yield on your CRO – the earlier you bridge, the more zkCRO you could be getting for your CRO.</li></ol><h2 id="header-1">Who can participate in this campaign?</h2>Anyone can participate as long as you hold CRO on Ethereum or Cronos EVM. If you hold CRO on a crypto exchange, you can withdraw it to Ethereum (ERC20) in order to participate.
