<p>Crypto lovers across the world are eagerly awaiting the four day annual Ethereum Community Conference, popularly known as EthCC, to begin in Brussels, Belgium from July 7.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Touted as the world’s largest annual Ethereum based event, <a href="https://ethcc.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">EthCC</a> promises to bring together investors, developers, multinational companies, and crypto enthusiasts all under one roof for four days.&nbsp;</p>

The center of this four day event would be at ‘The Square’ convention center located in the heart of Brussels. However, the convention center would only guarantee seats to a few thousand leaving several crypto enthusiasts, who are arriving in Brussels this week, dejected.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Project to Watch: Vara Network</h4>
<p>Substrate-based <a href="https://vara.network/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Vara Network</a> is one of the co-sponsors of the ETHGlobal Brussels Hackathon. The blockchain is the first standalone layer 1 decentralized network built on the Gear Protocol. The platform aims to offer developers a next-gen platform to develop games, financial applications, and other blockchain DApps.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As a co-sponsor, Vara is offering a prize pool of $5,000 to the top three teams that build original solutions related to&nbsp; DeFi, GameFi, ZK Proofs, or any supported standard by Vara Network during the Hackathon.&nbsp;</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="2-encrypt-xyz-brussels">2. Encrypt.xyz Brussels</h3>
<p>As one of the most-awaited conferences this year, <a href="https://encrypt.xyz/encrypt-brussels---schedule" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Encrypt Brussels</a> aims to welcome Ethereum and blockchain aficionados to Belgium to learn, network, and interact. The conference will be held at The Hotel Brussels on 8th July, offering participants a chance to learn about the new developments across the Ethereum ecosystem and other blockchains.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Encrypt Brussels will include speakers from across the blockchain space including Omer Sadika (dWallet Network), Nigel Smart (Zama), Zac Williamson (Aztec), Ilia Volokh (StarkWare), Jordi Baylina (Polygon), Omer Shlomovits (Ingonyama), and many more.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Topics will range from advanced protocols for the blockchain to scalability, GameFi, multi-party computation (MPC), ZSNARKs technology, private blockchains, etc.&nbsp;</p>
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Project to Watch: dWallet Network</h4>
<p><a href="https://dwallet.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">dWallet Network</a> introduces Zero Trust Protocols (ZTPs), a technology that allows developers to manage assets &amp; enforce logic across all of Web3 without bridging or wrapping.</p>
<p>dWallet Network is listed as one of the main organizers of Encrypt Brussels and will include several speakers at the conference, including Omer Sadika and Cyprien De Saint Guilhem, who will present a talk on multi-party computations and blockchains.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="3-ramendao-dinner">3. RamenDAO Dinner</h3>
<p><a href="https://ramendao.cryptonomads.org/ethcc-24" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RamenDAO</a>, a global dinner series, is set to be held in the city of Brussels at Crypto Nomads Club, in tandem with the EthCC conference. Located just 10 minutes from The Square (host location for EthCC), the RamenDAO Founder and Builder dinner will be held on 7th July from 7 PM to 10 PM (local time).&nbsp;</p>
<p>The dinner event is located in an ancient 1903 ironsmith store, aiming to allow founders and builders to take a step back from EthCC and enjoy preserved original Art Deco elements alongside the best cuisine Belgium has to offer. Co-hosted by Fuse Network, the dinner will also allow guests to interact and network with the best crypto founders across the globe, with discussions on L2 technologies, payments, rollups and the general DeFi ecosystem.&nbsp;</p>
<p>To attend, participants need to mint either a normal NFT or a soulbound NFT.&nbsp;</p>
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Project to Watch: Fuse Network</h4>
<p><a href="https://www.fuse.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fuse Network</a> is a business and finance-based blockchain that aims to enhance payments and crypto-economics ecosystems across the Web 3 space. The platform, which is an organizer of the Ramen DAO dinner, provides users with fast, cheap and borderless payment options and scalable innovations across DeFi. The platform also provides users with a non-custodial finance framework that allows users to reduce transaction costs and drive up transaction volumes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="4-securefi-io">4. Securefi.io</h3>
<p>Organized by dWallet Network, <a href="https://securefi.io/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Securefi.io’s</a> ‘Web 3 Security Summit’ scheduled on July 8&nbsp; will bring together the best minds in Web 3 security including Bartosz Barwikowski (L1 security expert at Hacken), Mooly Sagiv (CEO, Certora), Bentzi Rab (Co-founder at Utila), Alexander Hicks (Researcher at Ethereum Foundation), Mitchell Amardo (CEO at Immunefi) and many more.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The event will circle around better Web 3 security for blockchains and DApps, strategies and challenges in hacking, real-time threat monitoring, securing cloud infrastructure and web applications, a panel on validator security, bridging and wallet security and much more.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Additionally, Securefi offers participants an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for a $5,000 prize pool.&nbsp;</p>
<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Project to Watch: Immunefi</h4>
<p>As a co-host of Securefi.io, alongside dWallet Network, <a href="https://immunefi.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Immunefi</a> will be represented at the summit by Mitchell Amardo, CEO of Immunefi. Amardo is expected to speak on the value of white hackers in blockchain as well as how Immunefi has revolutionized Web 3 security by incentivizing ethical hackers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Immunefi is a decentralized bug bounty platform that protects over $190 billion in user funds. The platform has paid over $100 million in bug bounties helping prevent huge losses across the Web 3 ecosystem.&nbsp;</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="5-crypto-confluence">5. Crypto Confluence&nbsp;</h3>
<p><a href="https://lu.ma/rctuq6b2" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto Confluence</a> is a speed networking soirée, held during the EthCC week on July 9th, 2024 from 2.45 PM to 6 PM (GMT +2). The event, hosted by QuickNode, OpenZeppelin, ZettaBlock, Optimism Foundation, and Blink Labs offers an exciting opportunity for the Ethereum community to network and share ideas in Bruxelles, Bruxelles.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The event will allow participants to engage in brief, immediate meetings with representatives from each partner, gaining insights and exploring collaborations.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Crypto Confluence offers a non-formal setting for participants and invitees to network and share Web 3 ideas. <a href="https://www.quicknode.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Quick</a>Node, the host, will be a crucial project to check out given the innovative solutions in Web 3 infrastructure it offers. The platform offers developer tools and resources to ease the development of decentralized applications. The infrastructure guarantees reliability, security, user-friendly UX, and end-to-end customer support.&nbsp;</p>
