<p>On July 1, pseudonymous Shiba Inu lead developer, <a href="https://bitcoinist.com/shiba-inu-heartfelt-message-2024/">Shytoshi Kusama</a> took to X (formerly Twitter) to <a href="https://x.com/shytoshikusama/status/1807907558025281748?s=46" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">announce</a> the community’s first meet-and-greet event. The Shiba Inu developer expressed excitement for the upcoming event, declaring his anticipation to meet and connect with the <a href="https://www.newsbtc.com/news/shiba-inu-coin/shiba-inu-shibarium-public/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Shibarmy community</a>.&nbsp;</p> 
<p>Kusama <a href="https://x.com/shytoshikusama/status/1808855344497693093?s=46" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">disclosed</a> that the event will take place on July 5, around noon at the IVS official Shiba Inu booth based in the city of Kyoto, Japan. In an earlier post, he thanked the IVF official team for their support and patience ahead of the meet-and-greet event.&nbsp;</p> 
<p><a href="https://www.newsbtc.com/news/shiba-inu-coin/shiba-inu-kusama-breaks-silence-major-updates/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The SHIB lead developer</a> also revealed that he had been shy and reserved for years. However, he decided to break out of this shell to become a more outspoken advocate for <a href="https://www.newsbtc.com/news/company/for-web3-ecosystems-it-takes-time-effort-and-funding-to-build-up-a-strong-community/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Web3 technology</a> in the decentralized space.
