Around 928,200 Litecoin, valued at nearly $70 million, are poised to be sold once it reaches $74.65. This potential sell-off could drive Litecoin’s price below $70, contributing to further bearish sentiment. Network activity has also decreased, with fewer active addresses making transactions, indicating reduced interest and usage of the Litecoin network in general.
Certain metrics such as the NVT ratio, suggest that Litecoin could be overvalued. Should network activity continue to decline and sell orders get executed, Litecoin’s price might struggle to maintain its current levels, possibly dipping below $70. However, increased buying pressure could provide some relief and support a potential rebound. Fortunately for investors, many think they may have found a different winner in the DeFi space.
