The <a href="https://optimisus.com/news/us-sec-chair-gary-gensler-reports-smooth-progress-in-approving-ethereum-etfs/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)</a> has approved two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) focused on Ethereum (ETH): the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust and the ProShares Ethereum ETF.Following approval from the SEC through a Form 19b-4 filing, these ETFs will be listed on the Arca platform of the New York Stock Exchange. Immediate commencement of trading is not possible, as the final stages involve awaiting feedback on the S-1 filings of the ETFs.The Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust is a modified version of the Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE), which was previously a closed-end fund but has now been transformed into an ETF.The asset allocation strategy for Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust is designed to provide stability upon its launch and minimize the risk of significant capital outflows. The ProShares Ethereum ETF entered the market with a small delay.These ETFs are part of a larger trend of similar products that will soon be available on the market since there are already eight Ethereum ETFs awaiting final approval from the <a href="https://optimisus.com/news/crypto-news/president-biden-rejects-the-bill-that-aimed-to-remove-the-contentious-sec-crypto-policy/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SEC</a>.
