<p>WazirX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in India, has launched a Bounty Program to recover assets stolen in a <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/230m-in-assets-stolen-from-wazirx-wallet/" data-type="post" data-id="92124">recent cyberattack</a> on one of its multisig wallets. The exchange is inviting the community to participate in two bounty initiatives designed to track, freeze, and recover the stolen funds.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="wazirx-offers-10k-for-info-on-freezing-stolen-funds">WazirX Offers $10K for Info on Freezing Stolen Funds</h2> 
<p>Firstly, WazirX is giving out rewards up to 10000 USD worth of USDT for information that leads to the freezing of the stolen funds. This initiative aims to use community assets to quickly recognize and stop the circulation of the stolen property. According to WazirX, these funds should be tracked and frozen in order to reduce the possibility of the cash being laundered further.</p> 
<p>Secondly, the exchange is offering a white hat reward of 5% of the amount that has been recovered to help in the process by the hackers and security experts.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="wazirx-offers-5-incentive-for-recovered-crypto">WazirX Offers 5% Incentive for Recovered Crypto</h2> 
<p>To capture the bounty, clear and verifiable evidence of funds being returned must be produced. The 5% reward will be based on the actual amount of funds that has been recovered and successfully send back to WazirX.</p> 
<p>WazirX will continue to protect the assets of its users and expects that the community can contribute a lot to the return of the stolen funds. By engaging the broader cryptocurrency community, <a href="https://wazirx.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WazirX</a> also seeks to recover the stolen assets while improving the security of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.</p>
