<p>HIVE Digital plans to build a 100MW Bitcoin mining center in Paraguay. This move is expected to double its revenue and boost its <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hashrate</a>. The Vancouver-based company aims to generate over $100 million in stable USD revenue for Paraguay’s government-owned utility company. Frank Holmes, HIVE’s executive chairman, mentioned that this will add up to 6.5 Exahash per second (EH/s) to their mining operations, increasing their global resources to 12.1 EH/s, according to <a href="https://crypto.news/crypto-miner-hive-digital-to-double-revenue-with-100mw-center-in-paraguay/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto</a>.</p>
<p>HIVE Digital is also purchasing 500 <a href="https://ultramining.com/en/manufacturers/bitmain/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitmain</a> S21 Pro Antminers to maintain its equipment upgrade pace. These units will be shipped later in July, increasing the total operational hashrate to 5.6 EH/s. In early July, HIVE Digital’s crypto holdings rose to 2,503 BTC, an increase of over 2% from the previous month. They mined 119 BTC in June, maintaining their performance from May. Following this announcement, HIVE Digital’s shares surged by more than 13% on Nasdaq, reaching $4.15.</p>
