<p>Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes Bitcoin can serve as a critical counterbalance to excessive government spending, potentially safeguarding Western economies from a looming debt crisis.</p>
<p>His remarks were made in response to a dire economic forecast by analyst Balaji Srinivasan, who warned of a potential sovereign debt crisis worse than 2008. In the post, Balaji highlighted the critical nature of the U.S. debt situation, stating that no election can pay off its $175 trillion debt.</p>
