On 23rd July 2024, Elixir posted a mysterious video with cash flying around ending with &#34;coming soon&#34; which excited many users. Elixir <a href="https://www.elixir.xyz/ecosystem?ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">introduces</a> liquidity to order book DEXs by acting as an infrastructure for exchanges to bootstrap liquidity to their books. Users can add liquidity by simply depositing assets in Elixir and choosing a trading pair on any of the <a href="https://docs.elixir.xyz/?ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">30&#43;</a> native DEXs.By depositing through Elixir&#39;s native integrations, users can earn <a href="https://docs.elixir.xyz/decentralized-exchanges/exchange-rewards?ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">rewards</a> given by the exchange too. The governance token for the ecosystem and holders will be able to decide how fees are distributed post-mainnet.Irregardless of when ELX is launched, it will be interesting to see how Elixir will continue to provide liquidity through its infrastructure.&#34;ELX is the future native utility and governance token of the Elixir ecosystem, powering consensus and allowing for holders to direct the future of the network,&#34; Elixir explained.&#34;With the eventual launch of mainnet, Elixir will fully decentralize. While this includes a fully decentralized network, it also includes community-led governance run by the ELX holders.&#34;Users on X speculate that it could be an allocation checker or an eligibility list.
