Wong has long been known in the local crypto community, at least since early 2019, when he was accused of defrauding investors through a crypto mining hardware scheme associated with a token called “Filecoin.” It’s unclear whether that project is somehow related to the legitimate Filecoin network founded by Juan Benet. As of press time, Wong’s whereabouts remain unknown.</span></p>
