The market seems to agree, with speculation markets showing an 87% probability of a rate cut by September 18th.</p>
<p>However, the Fed's decisions are not made in isolation. Global economic factors, such as Germany's industrial sector slipping back into recession and challenges in China's property market, are creating a complex economic landscape. These factors, combined with weakening consumer confidence and increasing credit card charge-offs in the United States, suggest that the idea of a "soft landing" for the economy is becoming less likely.</p>
