The exchange has equipped this new offering with features from its existing expiry futures products, making it more user-friendly and sophisticated than traditional peer-to-peer pre-market options.&nbsp;
OKX’s Chief Commercial Officer, Lennix Lai, emphasized the exchange’s commitment to improving access to crypto trading. “Our unique approach to assisting in the price discovery process for early-stage tokens is backed by our robust risk engine and extensive experience,” Lai noted.&nbsp;
He highlighted that the initiative aims to make trading more accessible, efficient, and appealing to a broad audience.
Regulatory Concerns and Market Adjustments
Despite the innovative leap, Hamster Kombat, the issuer of the HMSTR token, faces scrutiny. The game, a popular “clicker” that gained rapid traction with 142 million users in just 77 days, has come under fire from global regulators.&nbsp;

These controversies underline the complex landscape of digital assets that OKX navigates as it expands its services. The inclusion of HMSTR in the pre-market futures does not ensure its listing for spot trading, which remains subject to further evaluation and regulatory compliance.
