Top SHIB Executive LucieSHIB has hinted at the possible launch of Shiba Eternity, the much-awaited Shibarium game. Lucie, the Shiba Inu marketing lead shared the new update about the game, citing a closed beta launch. With the Shiba Eternity Web3 version, the protocol aims to redefine the collectible card game genre on the Layer-2 scaling solution Shibarium. 
<h2 id="strong-shiba-eternity-and-shibarium-use-cases-strong">Shiba Eternity and Shibarium Use Cases</h2> 
Lucie stated that there are expectations for the final launch this week, according to Angel from the Shiba Games team. The game has seen several upgrades which came with improved features. In a previous announcement, Lucie lauded the game and some of its features. 
“Unleash your inner alpha in Shibatopia arena: Shiba Eternity’s Web3 upgrade is here, featuring ranked tournaments and blockchain-backed card battles,” the Shiba Inu marketing lead outlined. 
To gain access to the game, players are required to stake LEASH token. This process is necessary for these users to gain exclusive access to the game and become aligned with ShibArmy elite. As pointed out, users holding at least one Shiboshi, Sheboshi, or Shiba Eternity Lore NFT will gain priority access to the game once released.

Shibarium, it’s layer 2 scaling solution is under intense development. Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer is always teasing that the protocol will welcome many product launches soon. 
Though Shiba Eternity game is billed for open beta, ultimately, it might mark the de-facto game standard for the ecosystem.
