What was supposed to be a groundbreaking event in the crypto world now faces significant delays. With 300 million gamers and investors alike are left wondering what’s causing the hold-up and when they can expect to receive their tokens.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-airdrop-postponed">Airdrop Postponed?</h2> 
<p>The big HMSTR token airdrop, <a href="https://hamsterkombatgame.io" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">originally planned for this month</a>, has been postponed. <p>Despite the delay, the Hamster Kombat team remains committed to making the airdrop a success. They assured users that all registered players would receive their tokens, though the amount each person gets will depend on their participation in various activities. The only mandatory step to receive tokens is to connect a TON wallet to the player’s profile.</p>

OKX exchange has announced it will list HMSTR tokens for pre-market futures trading, along with other platforms like ByBit, KuCoin, Gate.io, and BitGet. This move shows high demand but also highlights the speculative nature of trading tokens before their official release.</p> 
<p>The Hamster Kombat <a href="https://hamsterkombatgame.io/docs/hk_wp_rev.0.2_july_30__2024.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">whitepaper indicates that 60%</a> of the HMSTR tokens will be distributed to players, with the remainder allocated to partnerships, market liquidity, and other purposes. The development team has no plans to sell its token allocation, focusing instead on building a sustainable business model.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-tapswap-faces-similar-delays">TapSwap Faces Similar Delays</h2> 
<p>TapSwap, another tap-to-earn game, is also experiencing delays. It plans to hold a token generation event (TGE) in the third quarter of 2024 but has not set a specific date yet. TapSwap’s founder, Naz Ventura, said they are working hard on delivering the best product and will announce the date once everything is ready.</p>
