Algorand and Optimism are facing increasing turbulence during this market-wide downturn. Investors are flocking to low-cap gems with untapped potential in order to mitigate losses and position themselves to make the most of this run. Algorand is a blockchain platform for smart contracts. Algorand saw an impressive price performance in the 2021 run peaking at around $2.40. Unfortunately for Algorand holders, in this current market climate the project is struggling to find its footing and its yearly peak of $0.31 is a fraction of its historic highs.&nbsp;
The overall picture is bearish, as Tether recently discontinued the issuance of USDT on the Algorand blockchain. Currently, Algorand sells for $0.12 with a 20% decrease in the last week.

Rollblock’s native token RBLK has shown impressive strength during this downtrend. The ongoing presale has already raised nearly $2 million, and early buyers are enjoying 80% gains.
